3 Application Procedure

Steps of Submission of Application

Applicants may apply online through the University admission portal or may submit the hard copy of the application at the University Admission Office.

All required documents must be uploaded in the prescribed format during online application process or hard copies to university.

Application Fee Payment Process

There is no application fee for the academic year 2026–27.

University Level
  • i. University Entrance Test — Details of University-conducted entrance tests will be notified program-wise.
  • ii. National-Level Entrance Examination Acceptance — Scores of national-level examinations such as JEE (where applicable) will be considered as per the University norms.
  • iii. Merit Calculation Criteria — Merit will be calculated based on entrance test scores, qualifying examination marks, and other criteria like PI as prescribed by the University.
Selection Process & Counselling

Jagadguru Kripalu University offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Applicants are advised to choose programs from the tab “Admission Open – 2026” based on eligibility and interest.

  • i. Personal Interview (PI) & Counselling — Counselling and PI may be conducted in online or offline mode.
  • ii. Seat Allotment Rules — Seat allotment is strictly based on merit, availability of seats, and fulfilment of eligibility criteria.
  • iii. Reservation Policy — Reservation norms are followed as per Government of India / UGC regulations.
Provisional Admission
  • Provisional admission can be confirmed after payment of 50% of the total fee, along with an undertaking.
  • Provisional admission remains valid up to the last date of admission.
Commencement of Admissions
  • Provisional admissions will commence from 1st February 2026 for the academic session July 2026 – June 2027 but however student can confirm their seat allotment from the 1st week of April 2026 after clearing the necessary selection process.
Document Verification & Admission Confirmation
  • i. Required Documents — A detailed list of required documents will be provided with the offer letter.
  • ii. Verification Process — Documents will be verified by the admission office at the time of reporting.
  • iii. Provisional & Final Admission Confirmation — Admission will be confirmed only after successful document verification and fee payment.
Reporting on Campus – Admission Process
  • Students must report on campus on the date mentioned in the letter sent from the University through email/post with all original documents and all other essential documents mentioned in the admission check list.
  • University Identity Card, Registration Number, and Hostel Allocation/Transport (if applicable) will be issued upon reporting.
Lateral Entry Admissions Provision as per NEP Guidelines
  • Students may enter in any academic year as per NEP guidelines, provided they have secured the required credits.
  • Applicants must be from a UGC-recognized university or equivalent, with acceptable curriculum matching.
  • Lateral Entry & Credit Transfer
    • Lateral Entry Options — Lateral entry is available in selected programs as per University and NEP norms. For the academic session 2026-27, lateral entry option is only applicable for 1st year under graduate and post graduate programs.
    • Credit Mapping & Transfer — Credits earned from previous institutions will be mapped and transferred following due evaluation.
    • Industry / Skill-Based Entry — Admissions based on industry experience and skill credentials are supported under NEP provisions.

7 International Admissions (B.Tech./ MBA Programs only)

Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals / NRI Students

Foreign and NRI candidates must fulfil eligibility criteria as per AICTE/UGC norms only for B.Tech. and MBA Programs.

Visa & FRRO Guidelines

International students must comply with Indian Visa and FRRO regulations throughout their study.

Important Instructions

Applicants are advised to carefully read the following instructions before filling out the online application form.

  • Candidates must review details related to programmes offered, eligibility criteria, fee structure, and admission timelines available on the official International Admissions webpage.
  • The last date for submission of the completed application form should reach before 05:00 PM (IST), 30th June 2026.
  • Applicants are required to upload the following documents:
    • Passport size photograph (50–100 KB)
    • Scanned copy of passport (first and last page) or valid proof of citizenship (up to 5 MB)
    • Scanned signature (10–100 KB)
    • Grade 12 mark sheet (if available) (up to 5 MB)
International Admissions
Registration & Application Process
  • Prior to filling the application form, candidates must register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
  • Upon successful registration, a unique application number will be generated.
  • The registered email ID and mobile number must remain active throughout the admission process for official communication.
Important Application Guidelines
  • While completing the online form, candidates should not use the browser's back button. Navigation must be done using the buttons provided within the application portal.
  • Applicants must review the entire application carefully before final submission.
  • Incomplete, incorrect, or improperly filled applications are liable to be rejected.
  • Once submitted, the application cannot be modified. However, a limited editing window will be available from 1st July to 10th August, during which only selected fields can be edited.
Important Advisory
  • Applicants are strongly advised to ignore fake calls, emails, messages, or social media posts claiming to offer admission assistance.
  • The official International Admissions website is the only authentic source for admission-related information.
  • All updates, notifications, and announcements related to the ISA admission process will be published exclusively on the official website.

8 Reservation & Inclusion Policy

Jagadguru Kripalu University follows reservation norms as prescribed by the Government of India / State Government / UGC from time to time. Admissions under reserved categories are granted strictly on merit within the respective category, subject to submission and verification of valid documents.

*PwD & Family of Ex-Servicemen reservation is horizontal and applicable across all categories as per UGC norms.

Important Notes

  • Reservation is applicable only to candidates holding valid certificates issued by competent authorities.
  • State domicile requirements, if any, shall apply as notified by the State Government.
  • In case of non-availability of eligible candidates in a reserved category, seats may be converted to other categories as per Government / University rules.
  • Reservation policies are subject to revision based on statutory guidelines issued by UGC / Government authorities.

9 Anti-Ragging

Jagadguru Kripalu University follows a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging.

10 Induction / Orientation Program

Induction / Orientation Program
  • An Orientation Program will be conducted from 16th August, 2026 to welcome newly admitted students.
  • As per UGC / AICTE guidelines, a 21-day Induction / Bridge Program will be conducted.

11 Important Instructions

  • If a student cancels admission after provisional admission or confirmation, the fee will be refunded as per University policy.
  • No refund will be made after the last date of admission as per UGC/AICTE.
  • A student may request a program change before the last date of admission by applying to the Registrar of the University, subject to seat availability.
  • Separate applications must be submitted for each program applied for.
  • After successful submission, an acknowledgement email will be sent to the applicant.
  • Applicants will be informed about the selection process schedule within 07 working days.
  • Selected candidates will receive a provisional offer letter indicating fee structure and required documents.
  • Registration will be confirmed only after document verification and payment of the prescribed fee.

All admissions are subject to University rules, UGC and AICTE regulations, and amendments issued from time to time.
