Jagadguru Kripalu University (JKU) welcomed its newly admitted students for the academic session 2026–27 with Arambh 2026, a Students’ Orientation Programme held on the JKU campus in the presence of Pujya Swami Mukundananda Ji.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana, followed by a welcome address introducing students to JKU’s vision, mission, goals, and institutional culture. Eminent guests Prof. Dr. Shubrangshu Samantray, Professor, IIT Bhubaneswar, and Mr. Debesh Dash, IBM Centre Head, Bhubaneswar, were felicitated on the occasion. Dr. Rabinarayan Satpathy, Vice Chancellor, JKU, formally welcomed the new students.
A key highlight was the inspiring session by Pujya Swami Mukundananda ji, “Unlock Your Infinite Potential.” Through an engaging interaction with the students, Swamiji encouraged them to recognise their strengths, overcome inner limitations, embrace challenges, and cultivate a mindset of continuous growth and excellence.
The programme also featured a motivational address by Dr. S. Ramaratnam, Chancellor, JKU, who encouraged students as they embarked on this new phase of their academic journey and urged them to make the most of the opportunities ahead. The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Shri Madhusudan Mishra, Registrar, JKU, followed by the National Anthem.
With a blend of personal development, spiritual guidance, technological insights, industry perspectives, and leadership, Arambh 2026 provided the new students with a meaningful foundation for their journey at JKU—encouraging them to discover their potential, embrace learning, develop essential skills, and prepare for a future of excellence, innovation, and responsible contribution.
